The Arts Club offers curated, immersive workshops designed to spark creativity in a relaxed and inspiring setting (over a glass of wine of course). Held in the atmospheric Barrel Room at Ayrburn, our sessions range from life drawing and charcoal sketches to abstract portraits and experimental still life.

These aren’t formulaic classes where everyone leaves with the same result. Instead, each workshop is a guided experience - structured enough to give you confidence, yet open enough to invite exploration and personal expression. With thoughtful prompts, sometimes a live model or still life subject, you’ll find space to experiment, connect, and create.

Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or just wanting a creative experience, our workshops are welcoming to all levels. No prior experience is needed, and all materials are provided.

Workshops are guided by Holly Schroder, an experienced artist and teacher who has hosted creative sessions in diverse settings.
